    What is Fraud Risk Orchestration?

Most fraud tools give you one opinion. PayShield’s Fraud Risk Orchestration gives you several, and resolves them into one decision.

Transaction, identity, behavioral and location signals are gathered from multiple anti-fraud providers, weighed against rules you define, and returned as a single outcome before the payment is authorized. Add or switch a provider without rebuilding your integration.

    Adaptive Decisioning

Routing, rules and risk strategies applied per transaction, across whichever providers suit it. A returning subscriber and a first-time high-value order do not need the same checks — you decide which gets what.

    Unified Risk Evaluation

Transaction, payment, issuer, identity, behavioural and location signals from multiple providers, resolved into one outcome: approve, review or decline. You see who is behind the transaction, not only what it looks like.

    Approval Optimisation

Low-risk traffic approved automatically, with fraud controls intact. False declines cost most businesses more than fraud does. This works on both.

    How Fraud Risk Orchestration Works?

It sits between your payment flow and the providers that assess risk. It runs in three stages.

Foundational scoring evaluates transaction quality before any provider is called, so you are not paying for lookups that were never going to change the outcome.

Routing sends each transaction to the providers and rules that suit its context — a first-time high-value order and a returning subscriber do not need the same checks.

Decisioning resolves everything into one outcome: approve, review or decline.

It can run embedded inside a payment, declining before authorisation when a transaction exceeds your threshold, or standalone as a risk check that scores without moving money.

    What gets checked?

    • Transaction and payment: amount, currency, card and issuer signals, velocity
    • Identity and behaviour: name, email, phone and address, and how they relate to each other
    • Device: fingerprint, browser and platform signals
    • IP and location: geolocation, connection type, proxy and VPN detection, distance from billing address

    What you control?

    • Rules and thresholds you define, per merchant or per site
    • Which providers are called, and in what order
    • Whether a transaction is declined outright or routed for review

Ready to see it against your own transactions?
